This week, Year 5 have been focusing on Chinese food. We have found out how much it would cost to make a meal, as well as calculating our change from different notes; we have written a list of ingredients and the recipe to explain how to make a meal; and finally, we have prepared, cooked and eaten a Chinese chicken and vegetable stir-fry. We have also evaluated the meal based on the principles of a healthy and varied diet.
Phoebe- "I really liked the taste of the different vegetables. I went up for seconds and thirds!"
Taigan- "I didn't think I would like some of the vegetables but the sauce tasted really nice so I ate all of them".
