Kearsney Abbey

On Thursday 23rd May, Year 5 finally had their class trip to Kearsney Abbey. We were able to put a lot of our learning to good use while we were down there. We used tape measures to try and find the biggest tree trunk that we could, we used trundle wheels to measure different distances, and we used our compass and orienteering skills to write different coding algorithms for our partner to follow to help find their destination. We had a wonderful day down there, and the nice weather was a bonus too!
